[thelist] vertical text css?

I was under the impression that a screen reader will associate column
headers with data cells as long as you markup the column headers correctly
ie using <th> not <td>. To quote the person (who is a co-author of books on
accessibility)

"Screen reader access to a table is independent of size. If the table is
properly marked up, the headings will be spoken as one navigates around the
table, so the larger table adds to the sighted user's difficulty more than
it adds to problems for a blind user."
