I used to think 640 x 480 was virtually dead & always designed for 800 x 600
at the very minimum... & then I went to work for the US government. Lots of
people in the several different agencies I've visited have their monitors
set at 640 x 480. They do tend to be the less technically savvy folks.
Percentage wise on webstats I'm sure they don't make more than a minor blip
but if they're an audience you want to reach, you should keep this in mind.
