Hello,

We've been working on a new WebMail system, Reply.gr, and we've just
recently opened it up to the public for beta-testing. It will ultimately
be a paid-service, unlike Hotmail, but for a limited time we'll be
offering free, unrestricted accounts to beta testers in exchange for
some feedback. Reply.gr has all the features you would expect from a
WebMail system and some you may not find elsewhere.

To check it out, go to: http://beta.reply.gr

Here's a short list of special features:

- Powerful support for external accounts.
You can check ALL your external POP accounts from reply.gr. Unlike
Hotmail and most other WebMail systems, however, your mail does not get
dumped into a single Mailbox. Accounts in Reply.gr are kept separate and
you switch between them via a convenient pulldown menu. No logging in
and out like some other systems. Reply.gr also does not delete messages
from the POP server unless explicity told to do so. It constantly
syncrhonizes with your POP Inbox so you can check your mail from the Web
and from Outlook. Reply.gr makes use of progressive caching, so access
to your POP accounts is fast. And since the accounts are kept separate,
each with their own settings, when you send a message it gets sent from
that specific account. Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail will send the message
from your WebMail account. Reply will send it from the proper email
address: you at yourcompany.com, you at school.edu, you at evolt.org, etc. It is
a WebMail system designed with professional users in mind.

- Support for Folders/Subfolders AND Drag and Drop
In Reply.gr you can create as many folders as you like, including
subfolders. You even get folders for your POP accounts! This is
especially useful if you don't use Outlook/Eudora at all. Furthermore,
if you're using IE, you can drag messages into folders, and even drag
folders into other folders to create a folder tree, just like in
Outlook.

- NO ADS - EVER!
No banner ads, no ads attached to your messages, and NO pop-ups.

- Clean, intuitive interface.
Reply.gr's interface is clean and very easy to understand and use. It
has been tested to varying degrees on IE6, Netscape 6, Mac IE5, and
OmniWeb and should work fine in all these browsers. We'd like to hear
about your experiences with other browsers.

That being said, this is a beta version, and not everything is perfect
yet. Many more features will be added in the coming days and weeks, but
it is reasonably stable and fully functional. We hope you'll give it a
try.

Any and all comments regarding any aspect of the site are welcome. You
can either reply to the list or contact us directly at info at reply.gr.

Many thanks,

Kostas Nasis (Gus)

P.S.
We'd also be very interested in hearing how many of you would be willing
to pay for a feature-rich, ad-free WebMail system, and how much you'd be
willing to pay.
