But expect that stand to soften and eventually change over the next few
years. Terms that start out as two words usually tend to become one word as
more people use it. "Online", "software", "email" were all either two words
or hyphenated at one time. In time, it will become "website".
Since we're talking about style and usage, check out the Economist style
guide at: http://www.economist.com/library/StyleGuide/index.cfm
(It seems they use "Website", at least their right column does.)
