Looks like you've got both:

  position: absolute;
  position: fixed;

in #menu in the CSS.

I removed the fixed line and it started working fine on my local machine.

Subject: [thelist] links not working in IE6

I'm having a strange problem with a site I recently built, http://carf.info

I don't have IE6 - I tested the site in all the browsers I do have
(including IE 5.5), and (aside from a few minor issues), everything works
fine. I was recently in front of a computer with IE6, so I thought I'd take
the opportunity to test the site.

The site looks fine in IE6, but the menu links don't work. I have no idea
why this might be, since they're just *links* - the code looks like this:

<div id="menu">
<a href="/">Home</a>
<a href="/archaeology/">About Archaeology</a>
<a href="/kingstonpast/">Kingston Past</a>
<a href="/kac/">The Kingston Archaeological Centre</a>
<a href="/education/">Education</a>
<a href="/aboutus/">About Us</a>
<a href="/consulting/">Consulting</a>
<a href="/contact/">Contact Us</a>
</div>

Nothing really paradigm-challenging there . . . I'm hoping I've just
overlooked something simple.

The other links in the pages work, but none of the menu links do.

Can someone please confirm for me that the menu is not working in IE6.
Also, does anyone have any idea why it might not?

The site again is http://carf.info

Thanks,
Noah
