[thelist] how does XHTML/CSS separate content from design mor e than using nested tables and the like?

1. all the CSS-only sites i've seen all tend to look the same. there is
no longer the complicated looking pictures and layouts. it's all pretty
basic with mostly text. can anyone give me some examples of complicated
sites using CSS only?

There is another link that floats around here that has a bunch of cool
examples, but I can't seem to find it.

On a side note, a friend of mine interviewed for a job and mentioned that he
could do layouts with CSS.  The hiring manager inquired, "But you know how
to do it with tables also, right?"
