Actually, David, you're partially right.  Mailman runs on Python.  Python
DOES come (typically) with most Linux releases; however, you can download
Python (http://www.python.org) and, if you have a C Compiler for the PC or
Mac, you can compile for Windoze.  Being Open Source, Python is ditributed
in source only.
