Firstly, if you're spending more than say $11 on a domain, you're getting
hosed.

Two, well, it depends on how the server is configured.  If they are running
apache with no virtualhosts, then yes, all the domains would just go to the
one site folder.

However, if they're running apache with virtualhosts, then no, they would
need to add the virtualhost container for each of those new domains.

And if they're running IIS 5+, for each domain, you need to control that the
server recognizes the domain and points it to the correct directory of info.

So, depending on the server software being used and how the site is being
hosted, it can be a very easy to more exhausting job.  You should read about
virtualhost, ip based virtualhosting, and IIS server configurations.
