[thelist] WINS alias and IIS

Is it possible to create a WINS alias to a server and
maje IIS serve its documents as if it was another box ?

I have one server (MYSERVER) and i am developing an
ASP app that I would like to make accesible by
typing MYAPP in the location bar. I know that this
kind of aliasing can be done with WINS, but can IIS
diferantiate and map this MYAPP to a certain directory
(or whatever is needed) ?
