you mean, other than a table, right?    ;o)

font will resize unless it's constrained by pixels or something

frankly i was surprised it resulted in that problem -- just another
whoopsie on the long sorry list of css challenges

in any case, you are floating one div left and another right, i think if
you took away the float:right it might work

i hang out on css-discuss and i'm sure for most of the folks there your
problem would be trivial
