Doesn't Statmarket.com get it's numbers from the same place as
theCounter.com?

Regardless, theCounter's numbers for April:

MSIE 5.x					55%
MSIE 6.x					32%
Netscape 4.x				 4%
MSIE 4.x					 3%
Opera x.x*					 0.7%
Netscape 3.x*				 0.07%

*my own calculations based on supplied total visitors and totals
for those two browsers


Compare w/OneStat and you'll see significant differences.

I know for a fact theCounter's stats are wrong. For one thing,
they're reporting useragents that are not Y2K compliant and
shouldn't be able to run anymore. Those almost certainly must be
'bots skewing the numbers.

TheCounter and OneState are both garbage, AFAIC. You can read more
