Traditionally (in North America) publications with more typographic
control (books, magazines) use italics to indicate books, magazines,
newspapers, and movies. Articles in a magazine are usually marked in
quotes.
Newspapers vary in their style, some put books titles in quotes but not
magazines and newspapers. Others italicize them.
