[thelist] scrollbars in a div?

thanks for the overflow suggestion, it works. but it doesn't work if my
DIV is a percentage (as jeff perhaps mentioned). in a situation like
this, what is a good and usable option? i could use some scrollbar script
using dhtml, but i want to stay clear of all that. i could use iframes
which most browsers now seem to support but the issue is that my pages
will be indexed by search engines individually even though i would want
them to appear only as a part of the whole page. wonder if i am making
sense.

would really appreciate any advice about how you gurus do it. the client
wants to keep the company logo fixed on the page regardless of the
content being scrolled through and the content will scroll because there
may be lots of it!
