There is an E-commerce package called Store Front
http://www.storefront.net/products/frontpage_overview.asp which plugs into
Front Page and gives complete E-commerce design, deployment, and
maintenance capabilities.
I don't use it and I know of no one that has used it either.
Read all the manuals, sign up for all the support available, and have fun!
The worst thing that can happen out of all of this is that you will learn
something new.
