Today, the cows mooved michael ensor to write re keyword color names:

> gray [I think that through some quirk you need to spell it grey]

Other way round: http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/types.html#h-6.5

Gray is primarily American usage; grey is primarily British. In such
cases, the W3C almost exclusively uses the American variant.

Dictionaries seem somewhat puzzled by this word. The Merriam-Webster and
Dictionary.com services
(http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=grey and
http://www.dictionary.com/search?q=grey respectively) list grey as a
variant of gray, while the Oxford English Dictionary
(http://dictionary.oed.com/cgi/entry/00098240 [subscription required])
lists gray as a variant of grey.
