i don't know how much easier it could be to find.

tools > options > "mail format" tab > "signature picker" button.  you can add/edit/delete signatures to your heart's content.

i remember v3.  there are lots of other little things that are highly annoying about it though.  like search, v3 was incredibly slow when doing a search across folders.

my problem is that i usually don't find out that i need to keep the attachment with the message until it's too late.
