Can I strongly recommend:

http://www.phpcollab.com/website/demo.php?

from the site:

What is PhpCollab?
With the origin it was a question of making an adaptation of Macromedia
Sitespring in Php/MySql, now Macromedia stopped the development of
Sitespring and PhpCollab continues to evolve with new functionalities
and improvements.

In a simple way, PhpCollab is an application for the web project
management: to add a project, to choose the members of the team, to
assign tasks, to publish on a project site and to give an access to the
customer, to discuss the project, to add notes to the project, to create
reports of the tasks, to manage files...

English is not the developers first language I guess, but the software
is good and it's open source.....
