[thelist] mac ppp connection failing

its more simple than that its netscape!  but it is rrobably the proxy settings?

Is there an online walk through for settings or do you know what  should do?  I
have to talk this through to someone on the phone!

Is that IE on OS X Jaguar, by any chance? Check the proxy settings in
the browser preferences pane to make sure that proxies are disabled.
