Hi all,

I seem to have a problem with a table in NN6.2.1

I can't show you the page, it's on an intranet.

But here's the code (very straightforward HTML 4 table layout):

<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%"
background="/sicor/img/bg_top.gif" bgcolor="#FFE632">
  <tr valign="top">
    <td><a href="/sicor/"><img src="/sicor/img/logo_sicor.gif" width="259"
height="53" alt="SICoR" border="0"></a></td>
    <td align="right"><img src="/sicor/img_home/top_pave_intranoo.gif"
width="115" height="42"></td>
  </tr>
</table>

Whenever I specify a HTML 4.01 DTD, either Transitional or Strict, NN6.2.1
adds a space at the bottom of my logo_sicor.gif image. If I delete DTD
declarations, the table displays as expected (no spaces etc).

That's really strange, I've never seen such behaviour nor read about that.
And of course I have to code with those older methods because on our
intranet we still have a fair proportion of NN4.5.

Anybody's got an idea?

TIA
