[thelist] banner ad rates in the UK

I have two sites (nott as busy as yours) but similar and the client knows he can
earn money from advertisng but will not put his hand ion his pockect to alter
the site layout and employ a sales person.  In the end the site will just end up
dying and it's really quite sad.

Jesus, I get about 4000 unqiue hits a day yet no one wants to advertise on
my site ;o(

that sounds about right... if the site is attracting 500+ unique vistors
everyday.

Can anyone give me an idea of reasonable website banner advertisement rates
in the UK ?
(dont we hate them ?! unfortunately its an economic neccessity :( )
It is for a website that I have been working on  and while there are quite
a few people from the UK,
willing to buy up space, I have no idea as to how much i can charge them !
The banner is of a vertical type 130 * 400 pixels...
I was looking at 80 pounds a month / unlimited impressions , does that
sound too unreasonable ?
