q42 also has a bookmarklet that calculates the page size at
http://www.q42.nl/research/. IE only as well.

You can try IE Booster: http://www2.paessler.com/products/ieb/index.html

It (as you may have guessed from the name) only works with IE. After you
install it, you can right-click on the page you'd like to measure.
Select
IEB: Page: Show Images from the context menu. At the bottom of the list
of
images it will present to you, IE Booster will add up the size of the
images and the HTML source for you.

IE Booster also has some other interesting features, like showing you
the
stylesheet for a page, a list of all the hyperlinks in a page, and a
couple
of other things that might be of interest to people who work with the
web.
I've used it for a while, and I haven't found it to be spyware or
anything
sinister like that.
