According to http://www.pchell.com/support/gator.shtml no.  That being
said, it still might be possibledepending on how the application actually
works.  Unfortunately I'm not masochistic enough nor do I allow my network
to see gator.com so I am unable to test it. You may wish to download
AdAware and run it though which will readily pick up on the add/spyware and
give you the option to remove it.  A word of warning however, if you remove
a file that the calling program is required to have the app will cease to
work.  I ran into this a few times and was forced to find a better
alternative (sans adware and spyware ...  preferably Open Source).
