[thelist] RSS 1.0 Parser in Perl

Does anyone know of an RSS Parser written in Perl that supports 9.x and 1.0?
  I've been using RSS Monkey written by Ben Brown but found that it doesn't
support 1.0.

I need something just like RSS Monkey that is written in Perl and is a stand
alone script.  I'll be posting this to a server at work and the IT people
don't have a PHP environment set up and are not interested in doing  so.
