[thelist] upload chart, within time limit

ok, i wanna make a chart that shows how large a file a user can
expect to be able to upload based on connection speed and given
a server timeout... something like:

Given a server timeout of 10 minutes, you can upload the following
file size safely with the following connection types:
Conn.	| Size
56k	| 400k
DSL	| 1200k
T1	| 4800k

i've googled for a calculator, and can't seem to find poo, and my
math skills, while great for calculus, are leaving my brain in pain...

i do need a calculator, or at least a convenient chart of numbers so
i can run the math myself, since the timeout will change from app
to app...

help?
