I have a blind friend, who uses a brile screen with regular IE. Since the
translation to brile is not done by IE, I dubt that there is a way that a
website can detect his use of it.

Hail evolters,

I'm fairly sure the answer to this is "no" but I have to ask anyway:
Is there a way using client side javascript to detect whether a user is
using screen reader software such as JAWS, in much the same way as
detecting which browser they're using?
