Right - this is a bit of an old question - I had forgotten I had asked it
until this morning when I had people asking me how finding a CMS system was
going - D'oh!
Anyway - here is a more exact list of my needs :
- I would be happy to look at either hosting the CMS on our own
servers or having them hosted by someone else.
- I need to be able to let non tech users upload files & edit content
without my intervention.
- I would like it to be in ASP (if hosting on our own servers) - maybe
open source (is this asking too much?).
- Has to be well documented! (I've tried using Zope - can't do
anything with it - just get confused. Does anyone know of any good
documentation of Zope?)
- has to support password protected areas.
If I were gonna be honest I would like a CMS written in ASP that I could
maintain (mess about with) - hosted on our servers. But this could be a bit
unrealistic.
Thank you again for all your help!

here's a question --
do you need a full install, or could you get by paying substantially
less for a hosted model, where you pay a monthly fee and the
CMS and the site is hosted outside of your organization?
