Before you re-invent the wheel, why not look at what's out there that
you could pick apart and glean the best bits from.

This is an excellent PHP/MySQL product that you could use -

have each "supporter" log their tasks, tips etc as tickets, with the
solution and get them to add the solutions to the knowledge base.

Marketing could ask questions as a "ticket", and anyone could answer,
dumping it into the KM for future use.

It'll do that out of the box....

it's all searchable too.....
