The script has an alternative mode which is specifically designed for this - whereby it doesn't render a top navbar at all, but provides built-in functions you can use to call menus from your existing HTML; more info is at http://www.brothercake.com/dropdown/triggers.html -----Original Message----- From: thelist-admin at lists.evolt.org [mailto:thelist-admin at lists.evolt.org] On Behalf Of Paul Bennett Sent: 21 January 2003 20:36 To: thelist at lists.evolt.org Subject: Re: [thelist] Rollover drop down menus Cake wrote: >I maintain one at http://www.brothercake.com/dropdown/ it has the >widest cross-browser support of any such script in existence :) > On (or maybe slightly off) this topic, does anyone know of any good resources (eg step by step tutorials) that will teach you how to build on of these? I have hunted through peoples code (made my head hurt) and had a go at rolling my own (woeful) , but would love a good easy to follow tutorial to help improve my knowledge in this area... Also, it would be great if more of these drop down menus had a way for users to navigate if Javascript is turned off. Currently most of them are generated entirely by scripting..... -- Paul Bennett Internet Developer Teltest Electronic Design -------------------------- Phone : 64 4 237 0767 Web : http://www.teltest.com Wap : http://wap.teltest.com Email : paul at teltest.com -------------------------- -- * * Please support the community that supports you. * * http://evolt.org/help_support_evolt/ For unsubscribe and other options, including the Tip Harvester and archives of thelist go to: http://lists.evolt.org Workers of the Web, evolt !
