Actually, PHP is nice in that when you define a string using double-quotes,
any variables in that string are interpreted.

Thus, given that:
    $a = "Hello";
    $b = "World!";

the following two statements achieve the same result:
    $myvar = "$a, $b";
    $myvar = $a . ", " . $b;
