Hey all,

I have a question on behalf of a friend offlist, he's creating an
intranet Psychology tutorial for students a the college he works,
written in JavaScript using pop-up windows (as its an intranet
environment he doesn't really have to worry much about coding to
different audiences, except his students!)
He wants to know he would change a visual option for the child window
from within the source of the child window itself, for example setting
the toolbar or menubar boolean values to 'no' from the child window
once its loaded, rather than the code used to open the child in the
parent (a link or button).

Not having much knowledge of JavaScript or client-side scripting (more
of a server-side guy myself), I thought I'd try here for any help.

Cheers,
