i'm really feeling like a dunce tonight. i have a link to a quicktime
mp4 file, and am trying to make the browser save the file, not display
the contents. i tired two things i thought worked:

1) add "AddType video/quicktime .mp4" to an .htaccess file
or
2) make the link like "<a href="file.mp4" type="video/quicktime">"

googling hasn't helped my frustration; i'm sure this is simple, can
someone remind me?

tia,
