[thelist] PDF pooping out

Howdy all-

Lately on our webservers we've been running into difficulty with serving
PDFs. Oddly, if one goes to the PDF from a link, it gets one of these errors
(who knows which one why or where):

"Unable to read Badly Formatted"

"The file is damaged and could not be repaired"

And yet, if one were to access the URL directly, it may load fine. Anyone
encounter this and have any inkling why?

I've tried http://www.zombo.com/ to no avail.
