Where does the term "breadcrumb" come from?
If you remember the story of Hansel and Grettel, a trail of breadcrumbs was used
by the characters so they could find their way home. This navigation style is
similar -- not only do you know where you are in your Web page, you also know
how to retrace your steps.
No doubt there are a multitude of ways to develop such breadcrumbs.
Which highlights the problem of Geeks not being able to communicate to people
who are 'perhaps' a lot more intelligent than the Geek would like to think!
