[thelist] Windows streaming media on a Mac?

Can someone with a Mac (and maybe someone withOUT a Mac too) check out this
page:

and let me know if the sounds files are useable.

I did not actually design/build this site but I am responsible for it.  I
put in the links for Mac users to install Windows Media Player but one user
with IE 5.1 on OS 9 reports that he installed the player but the sound links
come up as garbled text in his browser.  He also said that he even
downloaded one of the files and it still wouldn't play.

Why are the sound files in Windows media format?  Good question.  That's how
the original site designer did it.  Do I want to change them?  Only as a
very last option.  Why?  I ain't gettin' paid hourly here. :)

Any ideas appreciated.
