[thelist] winXP registry

Hi all,

I've been looking at some tips for winXP and they are the type where
you adjust registry settings. They generally say go to the

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

and adjust a .reg setting. My first question is - where is it? I know
I've seen it before but cant' find it.

Second, how safe is it? Some of the stuff looks good (like expanding
the DNS cache) but I don't want to wreck myself.
