well, what good is earning a phrase no one goes to search engines and types?

the register article the metafilter d00ds are talking about:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/30087.html

try this:
http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/
its currently showing february results (how perfect, since that register
article was feb 17)

type "second superpower" in the search term suggestion box. it's going to
show us how many people searched for "second superpower" in february on the
entire overture network.

whaddya know, no one cares.

now go to google, type "second superpower"
you get back 107,000 pages.

in my experience, i can get into the top 10 at google for a term that
returns 100,000 pages with my eyes closed, and banana peels tied to my feet.

if they can alter the meaning of "peanut butter", and get into the top 10,
i'll be impressed.
