Belinda, I think you also need to consider that you, I assume, have a
contract to provide a service to your client and would likely be in breech
of that by taking his site down.  Not being a lawyer, but having taken
several business law courses, this would be of the biggest concern to me.
It's not the place of a host to be the judge of who is guilty of dubious
claims copyright infringement.  In good faith you are hosting the site,
until the courts decide or the parties come to an agreement, I think you
have an obligation to continue to do so.  I'd be furious if my host took
down my site based upon the claim of an unknown third party.
