Oh I got one a while ago; It contained a '.pif' file,
that seemed to actually be a binary executable.

Its true, if you can get the full email headers, the message
was probally forged. What you will be looking for,
is probally the very last 2 - three  'Received-from: ..' 
additions. The very last 'Received-from: ' may
be added to confuse.

If nothing else, there should be at least an IP address/host name,
whom you can contact to request logs.

Or if you want, send the _complete_ headers to me,
and I can look at em.
