[thelist] Background color not filling div

Hello,

I am creating a list of documents.  The left column has a fixed width of 
50px. and houses any number of icons.  The right column will display the 
document title, which in some cases could be very, very long.  While it 
would be easy to mark this up as a table, I would prefer to use DIVs to 
accommodate some DHTML that will be incorporated soon.

The problem with the DIVs is that the background color does not see to fill 
out the entire div and the margins between DIVs appear to vary.  The page

Looking for suggestions / explanations that might fix this.
