To add a bit more to what Raymond said, by default the setClientCookies attribute of the CFAPPLICATION tag is true, which is probably why he asked the question. If you did have it set to false, it would of course explain the issue.

I can't remember, but it might be true that the registry size is capped, which means that if you're trying to add new values to it, it's probably going to fail or product undesirable results. That's a long shot theory, but more to the point:

I think you should try either creating an Access db to store the client variables in, or better yet, an Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL database. See if that fixes the problem. I never did feel comfortable with storing data from my CF apps into the Windows registry.
