yes they did, and no, i'm not actually grouchy.

the intensity is in an effort to ward off the huge thread that's likely to
ensue over whether or not it's ok to "muddy your design with those horrid
dotted lines" or "not f*ck with accessibility/usability aids".  obviously,
i'm in the latter camp.
