You are probably not going to find a tool that will replace Enterprise
Manager. The closest thing that I can suggest would be Aqua Data Studio -
http://aquafold.com/index.html , But it is not going to contain all the
functionality that you are looking for.

A VNC client/server environment may serve you better in this regard.

To replace Homesite, I would suggest jEdit - http://www.jedit.org It is
about the best text editor that I have ever used and has amazing ftp/sftp
capabilities. The nice thing about jEdit is that it uses a plug-in
architecture, so you only add the features you need. it also means that if
you are a programmer, you can add in functionality that you feel is
missing.

As for Internet Explorer, may I suggest that you get a copy if SuSe
desktop. This will provide you with a copy of CrossOver Office - a wine
variant that has had a lot of success running things like MS Office XP and
other programs.
