[thelist] Mass E-Mail questions

I am creating a e-mail list system for a client to send out 500-1000
e-mails each week to interested parties & I have a question about the
host that it will reside on.

I have been warned to make sure that the system is on a "reputable" host
that will not have the recepient's e-mail host deny the e-mail.

Can someone tell me how I can find out if the host that I want to go
with is "reputable" enough for this task?  It's CrystalTech, by the way.
