[thelist] CFMAIL: Relaying question

Hi all,

I have no idea how to do this, so i'll describe the environment and see if
anyone else has done this before.

I'm trying to send cfmail requests from a site hosted on our web server
(box1) thru our exchange server (box2).

However, while the website, let's call it "site1.com" is hosted by us, the
cfmail requests are being sent to a different domain "site2.com" - which is
NOT hosted by us.

This results in the obvious relaying problem. The "from" and "to" addresses
are not recognized as local to the mail server.

And to make things even more confusing (to me anyways) - the administrator
of the exchange box has it setup to use Active Directory Users and Computer
instead of creating accounts in exchange.

Does anyone know if there is a way to allow relaying of ALL email requests
from a particular IP address or computer on an internal network, and in this
configuration?
