I started having trouble everywhere that _sans, sans-serif or Helvetica was being used, including Flash, Web sites, Apple Help and email. I searched for a long time before I learned I had to remove Helvetica fonts from my fonts folder. You may be starting to experience this problem as well. Thought you might like to know. > I want to create SWF for my website, but I don't own Flash. Are there > books out there that tell how to code from scratch? There are other apps that make flash, but you cannot code it by hand. Macromedia is working on a new Flash application tool that will create Flash with XML-style syntax. I saw a demo at the JavaOne convention. It is not out yet, and they had no information about how that XML-style syntax would be created. There may be a demo on their web site, but I can't recall what the code name for this new product was.
