Work well enough? pretty darn decent for me using Firebird, or
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624, and even
an old beast of a 'puter using IE5.00.2614 and works on IE6 etc. as you
know. Gotta get a Mac here, so can't help there...

Disconcerting though....

the old bones don't work as well as they used to, and you know how big
of a that market is.....

my/their problem was that when my mouse left the focus area of the link
it disappeared, (!- big deal for newbies or even those with a
dirty/shaky mouse ball), and I had to go back to the beginning
[loopMenuID] to get the submenu link to show again. iow, every time I
tried to access a submenu but my poor old arthritic hands happened to
stray out of that
element area for a second or two I was back to
the original curMenuID and had to try again to access a submenu
.

hmm, Sunday night and it's late, make sense? in other words, give me a
bit of time to make my decision of what the link that just
(miraculously! to me the noob) flew out for me to choose and increase
the value of your timeout to a coupla seconds or so to make it easier on
us old folks....

closeTimer = setTimeout('HideMenu()',2500);

it's late and not tested but thinking you know what I mean...

hth,

Regards,
