[thelist] IIS / formatCurrency Problem

Hi there,

We have developed an ASP application which quite often will display a
currency on screen.

In order to do this we use the formatCurrency function in VBScript,
which about 95% of the time is working fine.

The problem is that once in a while when you open a page every £ sign is
preceded by a "Ã" character. I have been searching for the reason for
this for some time now and my forehead is beginning to become positively
red from the brick wall I have been hitting it against.

Any help greatly appreciated, as you can imagine the client isn't a big
fan of this feature.

Thanks in advance,

Bob
