[thelist] menu samples...

hi....

looking for sample menus that will allow me to create drop down menus with
hidden submenus...

(horizontal menu)

     cat foo
     test qqqq
      aaa bbb
      etc...

the cat/foo items are top level items in the horizontal nav bar

cat has the structure:

      test <---- child of cat
       aaa <---- submenu/child of test
      etc...

i'd like to be able to have/add child/submenus to the nav menu. it's
important to be able to display the child menus underneath the parent, as
opposed to being displayed off to the side..

i'd also like any pointers to good drop down/menu scripts for vertical
menus. i'd like to be able to present the menu items and "hide" the
child/submenu items. the user would be able to see/hide the child items by
toggling the parent menu item...

     fooo
      -test <-----
        aaa
       test2
       test3

     fooo
      +test <-----
       test2
       test3

toggling the "test" item displays/hides the underlying "aaa" item...

i'd like the items to be listed underneath each other, as opposed to
displayed out to the side.....

we've seen a number of menu samples/scripts..but nothing that really can do
what we've described...

any help/assistance/pointers would be helpful.....

thanks
