I'm not a Canadian lawyer, but my advice is that you consult one if
the amount unpaid is large and you don't care about losing this
client for future projects. In that case, have the attny write a
demand letter claiming the client not only breached its contract with
you but is now infringing your copyright. Maybe an hour of attny time
to do this.

You could of course write this yourself but it sounds like your client
could care less about what you have to say at this point.

By the way, do you have a written contract with the client for the
work you did? If so, does it have an attorney's fees provision?
