Hi Hershel

Did you ever subscrbe to the digest version of a mailing list, where
HTML mails are accepted? There you get the HTML emails in full length,
code included. Quite hard to read   ;)

As already mentioned, bandwidth is a factor. If the server has to
send out twice as much kB to 1000 users, you'll start noticing
delays in delivery - again a degradation of the service for all.

And storing this garbage in the archives is also not funny at all  :)
